Contact Disposal Fix Hub
A real person reads this inbox. Send a correction, a question about a guide, or a problem the site does not cover yet.
We usually reply within two to three business days. Messages about a specific repair get priority over general inquiries.
What to include in a repair question
- The brand and model number from the rating plate under the sink (a photo of the plate is ideal).
- What the sink is doing: humming, silent, leaking, slow, noisy, or tripping the reset.
- What you have already tried, and what happened when you tried it.
- Roughly how old the unit is, if you know.
We answer with general guidance based on the model family and the symptom. We cannot diagnose a specific unit with certainty from a description, and we will say so when that is the case.
Corrections
If a page is wrong, tell us the URL and the specific sentence or step. We check it against the manufacturer documentation and update the page, including the review date. Corrections are not treated as an annoyance — they are how a reference site stays accurate.
What we cannot do
- We do not provide emergency plumbing service and cannot dispatch anyone.
- We do not sell parts, units, or installations.
- We cannot authorize warranty claims or speak for a manufacturer.
- We cannot tell you that a specific repair is safe in your home without seeing the installation. When in doubt, hire a licensed plumber.
Partnerships and press
For licensing, syndication, or advertising inquiries, use the same address with "partnership" in the subject line. We do not accept paid placements disguised as editorial recommendations, and we do not publish sponsored articles.
If water is actively spraying
Turn off the disposal switch and the water supply, then call a plumber. Do not wait for an email reply while water runs into a cabinet.
